Mortgage Broking Assistant
This is a remote position. Philippine-based (Filipino) applicants are preferred.
Position Overview
The Mortgage Broking Assistant plays a key role in assisting the Credit Team with end-to-end loan processing and file management. This includes conducting lender assessments, managing documentation, reviewing client financial information, and ensuring all compliance requirements are met. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and proactive communication to support timely and accurate loan submissions and approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the credit team in managing client files and loan applications.
- Conduct lender serviceability assessments and request interest rate pricing and property valuations as required.
- Review payslips and income documentation to accurately calculate serviceable income for loan applications.
- Examine bank statements to identify and flag any significant or irregular transactions that may impact credit assessments.
- Ensure all client documents are complete, correctly filed, and organized; maintain a list of outstanding requirements for the Credit Manager.
- Identify and flag potential credit risks or issues for further review.
- Enter client data into the CRM system and Apply Online portal to build and submit loan applications to lenders.
- Liaise with lenders to follow up application statuses and coordinate with the credit team to address outstanding items for timely approvals.
- Maintain compliance standards by uploading accurate and complete documentation to the CRM system.
Requirements
Qualification and Experience Criteria :
Previous experience in Australian loan processing is required.Strong understanding of lending documentation, financial statements, and income verification.Working knowledge of the following tools : Apply Online, myCRM, Salesforce, CoreLogic.Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or potential risks.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in developing credit and loan processing skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining team alignment.Work Environment & Expectations
While this is a work-from-home position, it is important to note that this is a full-time rolenot a freelance or flexible-hour arrangement. You will be expected to work a fixed shift and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability, just as you would in an office environment.

Discipline and commitment to set working hours (strict shift times, not flexible).Use of time tracking software during work hours.Active participation in team and client calls with your camera ON.Consistent availability and responsiveness throughout your shift.Treating this as a long-term, full-time jobnot a side gig or freelance task.Payroll is processed bi-monthly.
