  • Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.
  • Monitor and manage project schedule and milestones.
  • Maintain quality control and ensure excellence in project delivery.
  • Review contract conditions and ensure compliance with all terms.
  • Supervise documentation of significant project events (e.g., delays, change orders).
  • Avoid or mitigate claims and conflicts through proactive management.
  • Complete all job close-out procedures and conduct warranty follow-up (e.g., 1-year warranty walks).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors.
  • Manage, train, and supervise project team in alignment with company policies.
  • Organize and lead regular meetings with management and subcontractors.
  • Direct preconstruction services and activities as needed.
  • Support estimating staff as a bid item specialist as needed.
  • Assist with business development and participate in client interviews.
  • Maintain timely and accurate reporting to management.
  • Deliver project with full or enhanced fee through effective cost control and execution.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or phases concurrently.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive sense of urgency.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction software (e.g., CMiC, Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
  • Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection.
  • Working knowledge of contract law and project accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with healthcare construction protocols, including infection control and interim life safety measures.
  • Thorough understanding of project management control systems, including scheduling, cost control, procurement, and estimating.
  • Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management.
  • Willingness to travel for project needs.
