The Operations Manager leads and oversees all pharmacy fulfillment operations, including packaging, bulk dispensing, automated dispensing systems, inventory management, delivery, and returns. This leader ensures productivity, quality, and compliance across all departments while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Location : At our closed-door pharmacy – Plymouth, MI
Salary : $115,000 + (based on experience)
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 9 : 00am – 5 : 30pm (with weekend availability as necessary)
Classification : Full-time, Exempt
Reports To : Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) or Director of Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all pharmacy fulfillment operations, including packaging, dispensing, automation, inventory, delivery, and returns.Lead and develop staff through effective hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies (CMS, DEA, OSHA, HIPAA, and Board of Pharmacy).Manage staffing, workflow, and scheduling to achieve productivity, accuracy, and quality targets.Monitor and maintain pharmacy systems, automated dispensing equipment, and preventive maintenance schedules.Oversee purchasing and inventory levels to ensure timely, compliant medication availability.Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.Partner with the Pharmacist-in-Charge to uphold safety, compliance, and quality standards.Maintain facility cleanliness, safety, and readiness across all work areas.Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Qualifications :
Pharmacist (PharmD) or Pharmacy Technician licensing not required but welcomed.Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume production, fulfillment, or regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharmacy, logistics, manufacturing).Proven experience managing large, diverse teams across multiple shifts.Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook with strong analytical and organizational skills.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.Skills + Abilities :
