Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with expertise in ERP systems to join our team in Rochester, New York. Responsibilities :

• Oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Support the transition and integration of accounting systems, collaborating with teams to align processes.
• Review and improve invoicing procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in implementing sales tax changes and compliance for municipal government clients.
• Collaborate on system migrations and CRM consolidation efforts to streamline operations.
• Work closely with the parent company's finance team to align reporting and practices.
• Provide guidance on accounting processes during platform transitions.
• Address service-specific nuances and ensure proper handling in accounting systems.
