Program Coordinator (HS)
Department : University Hospital | Food Service Administration
Scope of Position : The Department of Nutrition Services administers quality nutritional care and food service operations for all patients, personnel, and visitors in the hospitals business units and clinics of the OSU Medical Center, and the campus and community they serve. The department coordinates activities to enhance patient, staff, and customer satisfaction.
Position Summary : Assists the leadership team with daily support of operations including planning, coordinating and implementing procedures, programs used for patient and retail food service. Provides key support for managers and staff during projects. Doesn't directly supervise staff but provides direction as needed. Integrates functions within areas, across the department, health systems and OSU organization.
Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in food management, nutrition, culinary, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in food service project planning desired. Must pass physical examination.
