Security Guard - Industrial Patrol Driver

What You'll Do :

  • Manage access control by verifying credentials and granting or denying entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required by site procedures.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies for access, reporting, and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify possible hazards or breaches.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations, lockdowns, or other site-specific actions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in law enforcement, military, or corrections, or a college degree is required.
  • A minimum of five years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
