Senior People Business Partner
Reporting to the Associate Director, People Business Partnerships, you will partner directly with leadership to build a scalable organization while positively impacting the day-to-day experiences of our people. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the effectiveness of the organization by driving people retention programs and providing guidance to leaders across the company. In this role, you will cultivate strong performance and engagement, coach managers, enable clear team communication and feedback, and drive organizational plans that deliver on business goals.
You have 8-10 years experience in HR with at least 3-5 years as a People Business Partner, with at least 3 years working in a high-growth tech company. You have a proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR, including employment law & compliance requirements. You have a proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues, including making recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues. You have the ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured environment. You are a team player who acts with a sense of urgency and adapts to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You have strong ethics, demonstrated discretion, and sound judgment while working with sensitive and confidential information. You have a proactive attitude with a desire to continuously learn and grow while helping others do the same. You are a strong communicator with the ability to drive organizational change through partnership with People & leadership teams. You are obsessed with retention by way of creating sustainable, scalable organizations with best in class coaching, leadership, and career mobility. You are highly empathetic and build trust by being warm and demanding. You have the ability to analyze and interpret data, using it to help business leaders better understand workforce needs and incorporate results into workforce strategy and planning. You have the ability to facilitate discussions around change and transformation, identifying in advance where and when change management will be needed and proactively participating in developing plans. You operate with a strong customer service attitude toward employees and managers.
You will develop trusted relationships with managers to create strategy and drive organizational change. You will support managers through core People processes, such as annual compensation reviews, growth reviews, and our ongoing focus on managing performance. You will provide training and mentorship to leadership in an ongoing effort to maintain a positive employee experience that offers challenging yet fulfilling work and a clear path for professional development. You will help managers address performance issues early and where necessary navigate more complex employee relations matters that arise, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when needed. You will evaluate and recommend changes surrounding performance management, employee relations, career / leadership development, compensation, and retention. You will develop programs and processes supporting the learning, career growth, and mobility aspirations of employees. You will analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies. You will provide HR policy recommendations, guidance, and interpretation. You will drive diversity practices to foster an inclusive, supportive environment. You will provide strategic direction for the People Business Partner team.
