Essential Duties / Responsibilities :

• Service heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment, and other products, following all safety rules and manufacturer specifications
• Identify, wire, and start-up complete residential systems
• Troubleshoot, recommend and resolve / repair all issues to keep equipment functioning properly
• May perform start-ups, testing & recording results for each system during start-up to ensure the system is functioning properly
• Perform proper inspection of system and inform dispatch / customer of any outstanding concerns
• Explain each service and repair performed to dispatch / customer
• Directly coordinate with office for day-to-day work schedule
• Facilitate orders for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service
• Transport parts, materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned items
• Debrief all service(s) provided with dispatch / customer after each service call with respective documentation
• Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion
• Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out
• Abide by all company standards of performance and code of ethics
• Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates
• Ensure all foot ware has protective floor savers while working in client home
• Provide excellent customer service
• Complete paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough and timely manner
• Follow safety policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements :

• Be at least 18 years old
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to work at heights and use a ladder
• 1+ HVAC service experience
• EPA Certification
• Solder / Brazing skills
• Able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Comfortable in small, confined spaces like attics
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures and weather conditions while wearing PPE
• Go up and down stairs
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and organizational standards
• Able to use a computer for basic tasks
• Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required
• Have a valid driver’s license and able to drive to and from job sites
