About The Position

Position Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic Inpatient and Outpatient Rehab team for a 13-week contract. This role involves providing individualized therapy services to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, supporting both recovery and long-term independence. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, collaborative, and confident working across varied patient conditions and care settings.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct OT evaluations and develop customized treatment plans

Deliver care across inpatient and outpatient rehab settings

Address conditions such as CVA, Parkinson’s, MS, SCI, TBI, orthopedic & hand injuries

Perform cognitive assessments, sensory integration techniques, and wheelchair evaluations

Utilize adaptive equipment, orthotics, and assistive modalities (e.g., splinting, ultrasound)

Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe mobility practices

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in discharge planning

Complete accurate and timely documentation using Epic (preferred)

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Active California OT license (must be in hand at submission)

BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)

Minimum 1 year of OT experience in clinical settings

Familiarity with adaptive equipment, prosthetics / orthotics, and patient education

Willingness to work every other weekend (Sunday)

Preferred Experience :

Experience in Adult & Pediatric Outpatient and Inpatient Rehab settings

Previous use of Epic EMR
