Job descriptionBachelor's degree in a human services field (e.g., Child Development, Psychology, Special Education). 1+ year of experience working with children / adolescents in a clinical, school, childcare, or in-home setting. Passion for pediatric therapy and strong understanding of child development stages. Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities; experience preferred or willingness to learn. Ability to implement treatment plans and document clinical notes accurately using medical software. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for client commutes. Are you passionate about helping neurodivergent children thrive? Our client is seeking dedicated Child Autism Specialists for immediate direct-hire opportunities in the Alhambra, California area!
Unlike traditional approaches, we believe in fostering growth through meaningful connection and interaction , not just managing behaviors. You'll work one-on-one with children and adolescents, utilizing an individualized, developmental, and relationship-based therapeutic approach that truly makes an impact.

Here's what you’ll do :
- Build trusting relationships by understanding clients' holistic developmental needs (emotional, social, mental health).
- Facilitate play-based learning for self-regulation, social skills, daily living skills, emotion recognition, and problem-solving.
- Adapt to client's home environments to foster meaningful interactions and routines in natural settings and communities.
- Maintain professional clinical notes after each session, detailing progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide relational interventions and improve clinical outcomes.
Job Requirements :
Salary Range : $26.00 to $28.00 an hr (Based on experience and education level)
This is a Direct Hire position with various part time schedules available -
Monday / Wednesday / Friday 3 : 30 pm to 7 : 30 pm
Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday 3 : 30 pm to 7 : 30 pm
Tuesday / Thursday 3 : 30 pm to 7 : 30 pm
