Job Type : Full-time | Schedule : MondayFriday, with on-call rotation

Indiana Treatment Centers, in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services, is opening a brand-new Mishawaka recovery center in December 2025. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for staff, clients, and visitors.

WHAT YOULL DO

Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues.

Complete work orders promptly and document all repairs and maintenance.

Ensure fire safety, security systems, and life-safety equipment are operational and compliant.

Support staff during emergency situations (power outages, severe weather, etc.) and participate in emergency drills.

Maintain the facility and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.

Assist with room setup, furniture moves, and general facility needs.

Collaborate with outside contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are needed.

Uphold Joint Commission, OSHA, and Indiana state safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required :

High school diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related trade.

Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Ability to be on-call for emergencies.

Preferred :

Experience in healthcare or residential facilities.

Familiarity with Joint Commission and OSHA safety standards.

Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or related trade.

WORK CONDITIONS

Indoor / outdoor facility environment with regular exposure to tools, equipment, and machinery.

Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, and bending.

May require evening or weekend coverage during emergencies.
