Powder Coat Painter

Harvey Vogel Manufacturing Co., a leader in metal stampings, has an immediate opening on 1st shift for a Powder Coat Painter. We are seeking a Powder Coat Painter at our Eagan Location to apply powder coat paint to a variety of simple and complex parts. The hours are 6 : 30am - 3pm, Monday - Friday.

POSITION PURPOSE : Application of powder coat paint to a variety of simple and complex parts. Operate PC equipment in a safe manner to produce parts that meet company's quality requirements at the lowest cost and in a timely manner. Mask, hang, and package parts as needed.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :

• Will be using PC application gun to complete projects. Able to paint various metals and difficult parts with little or no supervision.
• Able to clean equipment and PC booth
• Know how to troubleshoot PC gun flow, PC hoppers, and paint surface issues.
• Able to follow required procedures
• Provide accurate inventory counts at all times and keep parts / materials in appropriate storage areas.
• Perform basic maintenance of equipment as required and keep supervisor informed of necessary maintenance beyond minimal operator ability.
• Work as a team with other employees to complete projects.
• Approach all tasks and daily activities with a positive attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
