Our client is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean markets. They are currently seeking a Senior Account Executive for the Northeast and New England. As an SAE, you will cover a targeted area for our client’s high production printing in commercial printing, service bureaus, corporate in-plants, and specialty printing environments.
Location : Near one of the following : Dedham, MA; Hartford, CT; Bedford, NH; or Rhode Island
Responsibilities :
- Engages key executives and decision makers to identify and develop customer business needs through promotion of the client’s products
- Develops productive business relationships and provides a superior level of dedicated support with existing and new customers to add value to the customers productivity and profitability goals.
- Develops the territory to grow accounts through competitive replacements and net new account adds to the territory.
- Creates and manages a short and long-term strategy to position our products and services for a long-term commitment.
- Demonstrates drive and resilience necessary to meet established targets and an acceptable level of sales activities.
- Manages complex sales cycles utilizing a consultative solution-selling approach.
- Develops proposals outlining unique customer business applications, pricing, and implementation plans.
- Coordinates service and software support and establishes appropriate resources for each account.
- Utilizes internal resources (product specialists, solutions engineers, and technicians) to effectively present solutions.
- Coordinates consistent behavior of representation in the strategic direction of each account.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience.Experience selling business-to-business Production Printing equipment or related capital equipment.Experience in selling Capital Equipment to C-level decision makers.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Possess strong business and financial analytical skills.Ability to demonstrate effective communication and presentation skills in relaying ideas, information, and solutions engagingly and confidently.Strong territory management skills with proven success in identifying potential customers and applications.Flexibility to identify and adapt to changes as needed to maximize success.Strong consultative solution-selling skills.Excellent time management, listening, and interpersonal skills.Travel throughout the assigned territory, including flying to additional cities, and will include overnights (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record necessary).Base salary for this role is ideally in the $90,000-100,000 range with an incentive plan / commission under the terms of the applicable plan. An additional transportation allowance of $350 / month.
