As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve monitoring access, verifying credentials, and maintaining a professional presence at the front desk. Day Time Mon-Fri 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Communicate with site personnel and / or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors.Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.Support security-related operations by answering phones, directing inquiries, and providing information as required.What We're Looking For :

Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.Customer service experience is preferred.A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
