Lead Medical Assistant

Summary

We're hiring a Lead Medical Assistant to manage a team of MAs and drive day-to-day company operations. This desk-based, on-site role blends people leadership with hands-on execution : building protocols and workflows, optimizing EHR processes across multiple systems, and co-developing new projects with the CEO, CTO, and Head of AI to scale efficient, patient-centered care.

What you'll do

Leadership & Operations

• Lead, schedule, and coach a team of Medical Assistants; provide feedback, 1 : 1s, and skills development.
• Be available to the Medical Assistants to answer questions.
• Build and maintain standard workflows for eligibility checks, scheduling, prior auths, refills, referrals, and documentation.
• Conduct quality audits (documentation accuracy, turnaround times, compliance) and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with leadership to define KPIs (message turnaround, prior-auth cycle time, denial rate, no-show reduction) and publish dashboards.

Innovation & New Projects (with CEO / CTO / Head of AI)

Hands-on Desk-Based MA Work (as needed)
