Cloud Security Engineer (GCP)

Job Summary Cloud Security Engineer

• Design and implement secure integrations of security products within cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP; GCP preferred).
• Develop, maintain, and enhance CI / CD pipelines to ensure efficient and secure software delivery.
• Automate and improve security monitoring and processes, addressing gaps in existing workflows.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat detection activities.
• Collaborate with partner teams to integrate security during cloud infrastructure implementation.
• Apply DevSecOps best practices to cloud management and security.
• Utilize Terraform and knowledge of Landing Zones to ensure robust cloud controls.
• Work with container orchestration (Kubernetes : EKS, AKS, GKE), helm charts, and GitOps tools (FluxCD preferred).
• Implement network security measures (Firewalls, Proxy).
• Leverage programming / scripting skills (Python / Go) for automation.
• Communicate complex security concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP).
• Operate within Agile development practices.
• Must be local and able to work a hybrid schedule (3 days / week onsite).
• Cloud security certification required.
