TITLE : Desktop Support Technician

REPORTS TO : Director, Information Technology

EMPLOYMENT STATUS : Fulltime

JOB SUMMARY

The Desktop Support Technician under direction of the Director, Information Technology supports, maintains, and evaluates computer networking and telecommunication systems; installs, configures, and maintains all end user devices on the networks; performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education :
• Associate degree or above in computer science, information systems, or related field
• Prior experience working on a Helpdesk, in IT, or similar technical function.
• Experience :
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Advanced decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• The ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees.
• A process improvement mindset.
• Software maintenance and testing capability.
• Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Customer-service focus.
• Collaborative mindset.
• Hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Fulltime Employment :

40hrs per week. Work week is Monday thru Friday
