As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Bolingbrook, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a logistics and distribution location. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. This is a Part Time Position and Not Eligible for Health Benefits or 401k

Pay Rate : $18.24 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeMon08 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AMSat09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AMSun09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity.
  • Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and / or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and adjust patrol routes or activities as needed based on site requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
