Job Summary
Tilley Distribution is looking for a reliable and experienced warehouse supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse, from dispatching goods, to maintaining inventory and storage areas, to leading and coaching your staff.
You will also ensure that all safety and quality standards are met and that customer requirements are met.
Essential Functions / General Accountabilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff on 2nd shift, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of goods.
- Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of products, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and other departments to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Enforce and comply with all safety and security policies and regulations and report any hazards or incidents.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, complying with organizational standards.
- Prepare and analyze various reports and metrics to measure and improve warehouse efficiency and performance.
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar role in logistics or supply chain management
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, equipment, and software, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in forklift operation.

Physical Requirements
- Physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear.
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
