We are seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacy Technician with specific expertise in XR2 Robot, Med Carousel, Omnicell, IV compounding, and Chemotherapy compounding.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing high-quality pharmacy services within our healthcare facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate competency and adherence to all required elements of United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Chapters 795, 797, and 800 according to ISMP guidelines.
- Utilize XR2 Robot and Med Carousel systems effectively for medication management.
- Perform IV compounding and Chemotherapy compounding with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with hazardous waste collection and disposal procedures.
- Train new technicians and pharmacists on IV clean room and anteroom procedures.
- Order, restock, and maintain IV room inventory, including monitoring of outdated drugs and Beyond Use Dating.
- Place IV drug orders with wholesalers and process receipt and restocking of drugs.
- Monitor Dispense Prep accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor accuracy and timeliness of IV medication administration utilizing electronic medication administration record.
- Perform duties of Pharmacy Purchaser in the absence of the incumbent.
- Participate in annual inventory process.
- Process and enter patient charges and ancillary department charges into the computer.
- Serve on at least one multidisciplinary committee within the health system such as Medication Safety, and / or serve on a Local, State, or National Committee as a technician.
- Ability to work at multiplehealth hospital pharmacies.
Certification and Licensure Requirements :
- Pharmacy Technician Licensure required
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Certification through NHA required
