Job Title : Forklift Operator

Job Description

A manufacturer in Marion is searching for skilled Forklift Operators to join their team on 2nd and 3rd shift. This role involves operating various types of mobile equipment and ensuring the efficient handling and transportation of materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment such as sit-down or stand-up forklifts, and electric pallet jacks.
• Operate a wrapping machine and label finished products accurately.
• Utilize computer systems and RF scanners to identify materials for picking and shipping.
• Inspect inbound and outbound trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Stage products for proper and efficient shipments.
• Receive and ship inbound and outbound truckloads.
• Conduct cycle counts for verification of inventory records.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

This role is set in a fast-paced work environment where candidates must be prepared to be on their feet throughout the shift. Some tasks require manual material handling, with boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50 / hr.
