Job description

Administrative Coordinator 4 - Human Resource (Ja)

This position provides administrative support for the facility's Human Resource Department. Opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals, both security and non-security in a unique setting, where every day is different.

An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies :

  • Accepting Direction : The ability to accept and follow directions from those higher in the chain of command.
  • Communicating Effectively : The ability to relay information correctly and appropriately to connect people and ideas.
  • Following Policies and Procedures : The ability to comply with policies and procedures of the organization as well as State Civil Service rules, and all applicable federal and state laws.
  • Managing Resources : The ability to ensure resources such as time, money, and people are utilized appropriately to result in maximum business value.
  • Using Data : The ability to use relevant and valid data to inform a recommendation for action.

Minimum Qualifications : Three years of experience in administrative services. Experience substitution : Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information :

  • Reviewing applications and scheduling interviews
  • Filing documentation
  • Preparing copies for new hire orientation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • This position will work directly with staff from every department.

    Other Important Information :
