Job title : Aerobics Instructor Location : Wichita, KS Job Overview : Sanford Federal, Inc is currently seeking an Aerobics Instructor to support the McConnell AFB Fitness Center in Kansas.

Duties and Responsibilities : · Candidate shall provide Indoor Cycling, land, and water aerobics instruction to include but not limited to beginning step aerobics, advanced step aerobics, Indoor Cycling, power pump, water aerobics, yoga, power yoga, body toning, turbo kick and kickboxing.

There will be approximately 7-15 classes per week (Sunday Saturday). · Candidate shall provide a variety of aerobics to customers, with military personnel having priority.

The aerobics routine should be geared toward personnel on the weight management programs and those failing the Air Force fitness test.

Candidate shall provide all contractor supplies and equipment needed for conducting the class to include items such as shoes, clothing, music for various exercise routines, and any other personal materials.

The Candidate will also provide wireless headsets and transmitters (including the batteries necessary for their operations) and any other associated accessories for land, water, and Indoor Cycling instruction.

• The Candidate must arrive 15 minutes PRIOR to the start of class to ensure the exercise area is free of safety hazards.
• Instructors shall be certified in the Indoor Cycling exercise program (classes). It is the Candidate's responsibility to ensure certification renewal / update is maintained, in accordance with the respective association guidelines : i.

American Council on Exercise (ACE) ii. Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) iii. The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).

iv. American Aerobic Association International / international Sports v. Medicine Association (AAAI / ISMA) vi. The institute for Aerobic Research (Cooper Clinic) vii.

Reebok · Instructors will also have current American Red Cross of America Heart Association adult CPR certification. Work Schedule : 1.

McConnell AFB Fitness Center hours of operation are as follows : i. Monday Friday : 6 : 00a.m. 9 : 00 p.m. ii. Saturday, Sunday, Holidays and Down Days : 9 : 00a.

m. 5 : 00p.m. 2. One aerobics class will be taught on holidays and down days. Fitness Center is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Qualifications / Experience : · Certified in the Indoor Cycling exercise program (classes). · Current American Red Cross of America Heart Association adult CPR certification.
