Austintown Pediatrics, a trusted and privately owned pediatric practice, is seeking a professional and experienced LPN or Certified MA to join our pediatrics team. We are hiring for two full-time positions, scheduled 4-5 days per week.
Position #1 : LPN or certified MA needed to join our caring nursing team.
Position #2 : Certified MA needed to join our front office as a Medical Receptionist
Schedule & Hours :
- Monday-Friday.
- 7 : 45 am - 5 : 30 pm.
- 7 : 45 am - 4 : 30 pm in the summer.

Responsibilities :
Record a patient’s medical history accurately.Take and record measurements of height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.Administer immunizations, aerosol treatments and medications as ordered.Perform diagnostic testing as ordered and record results accurately.Communicate with patients’ family to provide results, instructions, advice and relay information to practitioners in a timely manner.Schedule patientsFaxing, referrals, taking payments, facilitating patient communication with providersRequirements and Skills :
Strong desire to work with pediatric demographic.Maintain an upbeat, encouraging demeanor.Ability to undertake a variety of care tasks and prioritize efficiently.Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Successful completion of LPN license program or MA certification program is a must. License or certification must be current.Job Types : Full-time.
Expected Hours : 28 - 40 per week.
