Description
Summary
The Application Specialist performs technical application support to assist departments and management with information technology applications / platforms. This is accomplished by performing upper-level technical support for Dynamics, UKG, INSEQ, Ignition, JDA WMS, TMS, and Microsoft Power Apps. Work involves configuring current systems, conducting needs assessments, evaluating new systems, and developing functional specifications / scope for technology projects. Advise in procuring new systems and implementing vendor-supplied applications, including the process scope, installation, customization, deployment, maintenance, training, and ongoing support for our Waterloo, IA facility.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and sit or stand. This is primarily a sedentary role that operates in an office environment. The associate may occasionally be required to lift 51 pounds; anything greater than 51 pounds requires assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This job is performed in a professional office environment. It routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, and photocopiers. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and vests are required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in a warehouse location.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
Full Time, Exempt. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.
Travel
Travel may be required between TVS Supply Chain Solutions, North American sites.
