Trout CPA, a full-service certified public accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Associate in its Tax department. This individual will participate in tax engagements and some small business financial statements. They will have responsibility for preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns; and assist in client management activities.
Major responsibilities and duties include :
- Lead small client engagements, which include planning, executing, directing and completing tax projects
- Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve tax-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
- Prepare partnership, corporate and individual income tax returns; prepare small business compiled financial statements
- Multi-state tax or estate & trust experience is a plus
