DescriptionThis is a Per Diem (as needed) CT Technologist position working at our Northwest Medical Center location.Summary : Performs all CT diagnostic techniques and examinations by established protocols.

Position Qualifications / Minimum RequirementsEducation : Required : Graduate of an Accredited two year Radiologic Technology program.

Preferred : Training in CT modality.Experience : Preferred : Direct experience in CT and / or MRI modalitiesSkills : Familiarity with ALARA Dose reduction principles, cross-sectional anatomy or currently enrolled in cross-sectional anatomy course, Multi-Detector CT scanners and Protocols for the various exams and with safe Intravenous Injections practice and use of Power Injectors.

Licenses / Certifications : Required : CRT license from State of AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE);

Registered and certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS certification.

Preferred : ARRT Advanced Certification in CT.Northwest Medical Center is comprised of a 300-bed hospital, three urgent care facilities, a freestanding emergency center and a large physician group, offering you a variety of settings in which to work.
