    The Company is in search of a Vice President, Chief Government Relations Officer to spearhead its global government affairs strategy. The successful candidate will be a proactive and strategic leader, responsible for navigating complex policy landscapes and executing legislative and regulatory strategies across various jurisdictions. This executive-level role demands a deep understanding of the U.S. legislative and regulatory process, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, manufacturing, building codes, and trade. The VP will serve as the primary liaison with government stakeholders, ensuring the company's interests are effectively represented and advocating for public policy that aligns with business objectives. Key accountabilities include developing and executing a comprehensive government relations strategy, providing strategic counsel to the executive team, and leading advocacy efforts on critical issues. The role also involves overseeing compliance with lobbying, ethics, and campaign finance laws, as well as managing the company's Political Action Committee activities. Candidates for this position should have extensive experience in U.S. government relations, public affairs, policy advocacy, or a related field, with a proven track record of influencing policy outcomes and managing complex regulatory environments. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have executive presence, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to the highest ethical standards. Strategic business acumen and the ability to collaborate across a global organization are essential. The role is pivotal in ensuring that the company's interests are represented at all levels of government and that its business priorities are supported by effective government relations.
