Job Description
Deliver comprehensive, compassionate and quality patient care. The mission is consistent with the hospital's mission, which is to deliver a wide variety ofcommunity-orientedhealth services / programs.
Under the direction and guidance of the professional staff and registered nurse, performs a variety of clinical / clerical duties and tasks to provide effective patient care.
Promotes a safe, cooperative and professional health care environment to ensure optimum patient care. Support a variety of Medical and surgical services in the Ambulatory Care Department.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education Required - HS Diploma or Equivalence
- License(s) Required- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program
- Experience / Skills Required - One (1) year previous experience in a medical setting of two (2) years relevant experience required.
Excellent communication / interpersonal skills. Bilingual preferred. Knowledge of Computer Technology preferred. Successful completion of Barnabas Hospital orientation.
