We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Project Cost Analyst to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a critical role in managing billing processes and collaborating closely with project managers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and process detailed billing for multiple engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project-specific requirements.
• Enter billing transactions and accounts payable data into the system on a daily basis.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure proper allocation of costs and effective communication regarding project budgets.
• Maintain a high level of detail orientation to handle complex billing operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries and resolving issues related to project costs.
• Work independently to identify and address any discrepancies in billing or financial records.
• Utilize tools such as Excel and Deltek (or similar large systems) to support financial processes efficiently.
• Proven experience in accounting, billing, and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of budget processes and cash flow management.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and analysis.
• Ability to learn and adapt to financial systems such as Deltek or other large-scale tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
