Litigation Paralegal
We have an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal working for a very well establish Law Firm in the Los Angeles area.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This is a direct hire opportunity to start immediately.
Salary : $100K-$120K
Responsibilities
- The Litigation Paralegal performs a variety of duties to assist attorneys in the Litigation process
- Will handle case management strategies, including discovery, expert witness identification and preparation, and trial preparation
- Strictly observes confidentiality of client matters
- Keeps accurate time records for client billing
- Continually learns and applies software and other technology as necessary to improve litigation management and client service
- Legal fact and basic legal research
- Will handle the creation and revision of legal documents
- Will manage the utilization of eDiscovery and ESI platforms
- Assist with case management
- Organize and electronically file pleadings
- Coordinate and schedule calendars
Qualifications
- 5+ years' as Litigation Paralegal
- Advance knowledge of eDiscovery
- Thorough knowledge of Federal and State court Rules and Procedures
- Proficient in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
