About the Role

A well-established and growing organization is seeking an Accounting Office Manager to take ownership of the company's day-to-day accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys overseeing all aspects of accounting - from A / P and A / R to payroll and month-end close.

As the Accounting Office Manager , you'll work directly with ownership and play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth operations across accounting, payroll, and benefits.

Key Responsibilities of Accounting Office Manager

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including A / P, A / R, general ledger, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L reports.
• Oversee bank and credit card reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure accurate reporting of benefits and deductions.
• Handle new hire onboarding, benefit administration, and personnel record maintenance.
• Collaborate with external CPA for quarterly reviews and year-end tax preparation.
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
• Support leadership with budget tracking, reporting, and variance analysis.
