Travel Support Agent - Asheville - $18.00 / hr
Customer Service Company is seeking a service-driven Post-Booked Travel Support Agent to join its growing team. This role ensures smooth, stress-free experiences for travelers after their trips have been booked.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support travelers with changes to flights, hotels, cruises, or tours.
- Monitor upcoming travel for schedule changes, delays, or alerts.
- Assist with travel documentation, confirmations, and insurance.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve post-booking issues.
- Handle emergency travel support and after-hours communication (if applicable).
- Update booking notes, CRM systems, and internal logs.
- Deliver proactive, friendly communication to reassure travelers.
- Work with Travel agents and Managers to assist with post travel needs.
- May need to take overflow calls to ensure the best customer experience.
Qualifications and Education
At least one year of customer service or travel industry experience.Familiarity with booking platforms and reservation systems (training available).Calm, professional demeanor under pressure.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize based on urgency.Knowledge of travel policies, insurance, and global travel requirements is a plus.Salary
Base pay is $18.00 per hour.Compensation is Hourly + Performance Bonus.Commission is available on up-sales and renewals when assisting with post-travel or overflow calls.Hours of Work
Type : Full-Time.
Standard Shift : Monday - Friday, 11 : 25 AM - 8 : 00 PM.
Rotating Shift : Must rotate every third weekend on Sunday shifts, 11 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $18.00 - $25.00
