What You'll Do :
- Design engaging teen programs that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning
- Promote library services through eye-catching materials and thoughtful outreach
- Provide expert reference support and lead library tours and orientations with confidence
- Collaborate across departments , occasionally supporting Adult Services initiatives

Provides expert reference services and Reader's Advisory to patrons across diverse interests and age groupsDevelops and maintains curated booklists and bibliographies to support community reading needsDesigns, promotes, and delivers engaging library programs and events for all ages.Leads library tours and orientation sessions to familiarize patrons with system resources, facilities, and servicesParticipates in the selection and acquisition of new books and materials based on community demand and collection development policiesReviews standard bibliographies and publishing sources to verify bibliographic details and recommend titles for purchase or donationCatalogs and classifies library materials using automated cataloging systems (e.g., OCLC), ensuring accurate and accessible recordsDemonstrates proficiency in utilizing library facilities, integrated library systems (ILS), and online databases for research and resource managementQUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution.Recent professional experience in a library setting as a Librarian or Library Assistant is highly desirable.Demonstrated interest in and effective use of social media and marketing tools preferred.EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
