Senior Analog Electronics Engineer

A Senior Analog Electronics Engineer designs, specifies, develops, and tests analog electronics for a wide array of applications, including analog front ends, signal conditioning, analog-to-digital conversion, precision feedback systems, dc / dc conversion. They also perform a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phase of specifications and requirements of the systems. The engineer designs these circuits, performs simulations, implements the physical layout, verifies and tests designs. They also perform a variety of engineering activities throughout the life cycle to support planning, design, test, deployment, and sustainment. This role requires an active US secret clearance.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Independently drive solutions to complex problems - develop requirements, propose ways forward when customer requirements are unclear or incomplete, and adapt appropriately to changes in requirements.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) able to develop advanced architectures and designs for complex analog electronics.
• Involved in business development and proposal activities.
• Identify program / system-level technical risks and develop and execute mitigation strategies.
• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary tasks with multiple engineers and effectively communicate status to project leadership and customers.
• Develop, document, and teach best practices to less experienced engineers; demonstrate strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve program goals.
