About the Collections Specialist Opportunity :

Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist :
Making business to business collections calls - around 60 call per day
Reconciliations of payments
Contact customers through both telephone and written communication to bring accounts to current status
Work with client to develop ability to negotiate payment plans with delinquent accounts
Maintains accurate records of accounts
When encountering discrepancies, investigate and develop ability to offer solutions to resolve delinquent accounts, such as terms change and / or late delivery of goods or services
Qualifications of the Collections Specialist :
3+ years of AR / Collections experience.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Excel proficiency : formulas, spread sheets, pivot tables are a plus.
Someone who is team oriented but also has ability to work independently with limited supervision.
