The posted compensation range of $17.00 - $23.82 / hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. At Holy Cross Hospital Davis, the Behavioral Health Department is a compassionate, approachable team that loves to laugh and is very observant, team oriented, reliable and advocates for patient and staff safety. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 8 and the patient population includes the mentally ill / mental crisis stabilization from age 18 and upwards, including homelessness, drug addictions, and many more. You get to really know your patients over the years and their families and become their advocates when their crisis doesn't allow them to advocate for themselves. This team cares as much about each other as the patients and selfcare and mental health is a priority for all. The staff is supported in growth opportunities and continuing education. An ideal candidate is willing to learn through experience and education, accept critical feedback and is mindful of cultural differences. We are looking someone who is accountable, team oriented and can communicate respectfully to social workers, nurses, CNAs, and our housekeepers with the same demeanor.
