Title : Administrative Assistant
Post Location : Anchorage, Alaska
Employment Type : Full-time
Schedule : 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm, Monday - Friday
Compensation : $17-$23 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits :
- Retirement Plan : 401(k) plan with company match that vests immediately upon participation after 3 months of service.
- Paid time off : PTO accrual will begin 90 days from hire date, however, PTO hours can not be used prior to the employee’s 1 year anniversary with the company.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to help with the daily administrative operations and recruitment of the company.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities
Organize Office and assist Management and Executives in ways that optimize proceduresAssist with the hiring process in applicant screening, conducting interviews and orientations while ensuring all hiring paperwork is completed on timeEnsure compliance with state licensing process of all security officersSchedule and plan meetings and appointments as requiredSort and distribute communications in a timely mannerCreate and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of informationMaintain physical and electronic filing systemsMonitor the level of supplies and handle shortagesResolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issuesProvide customer service support to clients on general questions, operations software support, invoicing, and collections by communicating in a helpful manner via phone and / or email.Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policiesMaintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleaguesUsing “back-office” computer systems (Edge)Perform receptionist dutiesOther duties as assignedRequirements
High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and personal vehicleExperience as an Administrative role in a growing organization with a fast-paced office environmentSelf-starter and ability to work independent of instructionEffectively communicate with staff and clientsExperience or proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Solid organizational and time management skillsUnderstanding of management proceduresAnalytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solvingConsistent attention to detailAbility to communicate professionally via phone and emailAbility to handle multiple projects at a time, shifting priorities as necessaryConducts self in accordance with Signal Core Values and by the Signal employee handbookRequired education :

Environmental / Working Conditions :
Normal Office environment. Occasional overtime may be required and / or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate.
