Your Opportunity :
Chewy is seeking a to join our Rebate Center of Excellence team. This role is instrumental in ensuring vendor rebate accuracy, compliance, and optimization, contributing to a program valued at approximately $2 billion annually. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical, financial, and operational expertise to improve rebate efficiency and reduce leakage.
Given the materiality and complex nature of vendor rebates, this role is critical in identifying process gaps among operations, systems, accounting and finance workflows. You will play a key role in process improvements, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic initiatives to help Chewy become best in class with vendor rebates!
What You’ll Do :
Review period-end close tasks and external and internal audit deliverables related to vendor rebates
Perform rebate accounting and data analysis to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Partner with various business leaders to optimize rebate processes
Identify and drive automation and efficiency improvements within rebate reporting and analysis.
What You’ll Need :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1+ years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, data analytics, or rebate management.
Foundational understanding of financial reporting, accruals, and contract compliance.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other data analysis tools.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate insights effectively.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Bonus : CPA preferred
