Certified Pharmacy Technician I

I. Position Summary :

The Pharmacy Technician provides exceptional care of patients by assisting the Pharmacist in the safe, accurate and timely dispensing of medications and the maintenance of pharmacy inventory.

Maintain a current Pharmacy Tech Certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

B.Training and Experience :

Type 25 wpm accurately

C.Job Knowledge :

1.Strong multi-tasking, computer entry, good customer service and communication skills needed.

2.Ability to prioritize work to meet customer needs.

3.Ability to perform mathematical calculations to perform accurate dosing.
