DESCRIPTION
Working under general supervision, the Radiologic Technologist performs routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment throughout General Diagnostic Radiology, in accordance with established guidelines and protocols. This position requires advanced knowledge of radiologic technology and acts as a Diagnostic subject matter expert and assists other technologists as needed. The technologist must demonstrate and apply knowledge of principles of radiation safety. This role will also prepares and position the patient for the procedure by using established protocols to achieve the highest quality image.
The Radiologic Technologist adheres to protocols specified by the Radiologist and accurately enters complex data into the computer system. They review, verify, and evaluate images and radiographs to ensure both technical and diagnostic quality. The role also involves ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
This position requires effective communication and conflict resolution skills when interacting with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. Additional responsibilities may include front and back-office support, as well as other duties as assigned to maintain smooth departmental operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
At least 18 months of experience in a similar role and setting.
California Radiology Technologist - Radiography (CRT-R).
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Recent experience in a similar role and setting or new graduate of an approved radiologic technology program.
Demonstrated knowledge of radiological computerized systems and applications.
Possess the skills, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) years of experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred.
Outpatient and urgent care experience preferred.
Understanding of various radiological systems to include PACS and RIS.
Bilingual in both English and Spanish.
California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F).
Experience in a similar clinical role and setting.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range : $102,667 - $127,681 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent : $49.17 - $61.15
