As a member of the Palmetto Family, you get the opportunity to work 1 : 1 with your clients in the comfort of their home.
Not only are you providing home care, but you are developing relationships and making a difference in the life of your client and their family.
We have IMMEDIATE HIRE for the following positions in the following areas :
West Ashley, North Charleston & Summerville
- Monday- Friday 9am-5pm
- Mon / Wed / Fri 8am-4pm
- Monday- Friday 11am-5pm
Responsibilities vary from client to client, as everyone's needs are different. These needs are outlined in the client’s individualized care plans.
We do our best to pair our caregivers with clients they feel comfortable providing care for. Duties can include, but are not limited to :
- Assistance with various Activities of Daily Living duties (bathing, dressing, and grooming, etc.) depending on the level of care of the client.
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Appointment management & reminders
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Vital sign checks : temperature, pulse, respiration
- Assisting with ambulation as needed
- Medication assistance
- Offer companionship and conversation
