Daily Responsibilities : Perform surgical preparation and assist during procedures Monitor anesthesia and ensure patient safety Provide Fear Free care to reduce stress in animals Perform IV catheterization and venipuncture Administer medications and assist with discharge planning Required Skills : Registered / Certified Veterinary Technician Experience in anesthesia monitoring and catheterization Strong knowledge of internal medicine and preventive care Ability to perform dental prophylaxis and assist with surgeries Experience with medication administration and triage Animal Restraint Client Education Patient Recovery Surgical Monitoring Fluid Therapy Dog Behavior Microchipping Small Animal Medicine Cystocentesis Digital Radiography Company Information : Midtown Veterinary Medical Center is a private, woman-owned veterinary clinic in Fort Collins, CO, dedicated to providing exceptional and affordable care for dogs and cats.
