Program Manager
FedTec is seeking a skilled Program Manager (PM) who will serve as the primary point of contact with the Government . The PM is responsible for overall program execution, ensuring that contract requirements, performance standards, and customer satisfaction goals are achieved. This role provides leadership across helpdesk operations, system administration, and IT support functions while coordinating resources, managing staff performance, and maintaining compliance with Army and DoD IT standards.
Location : (On-Site) Fort Belvoir, VA
Security Clearance : Verifiable DoD Secret (or Higher) is required
Certifications : DoD 8570 Compliant (IAT Level II OR IAM Level II or higher)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for the Government, responsible for all aspects of program management, performance, and reporting.
- Provide oversight of Tier I III helpdesk operations, system administration, and IT service delivery in accordance with contract scope and Army standards.
- Develop, track, and report program schedules, deliverables, metrics, and risk management plans to ensure compliance with PWS requirements.
- Ensure timely response to service tickets, VIP / Executive support requests, and mission-critical IT needs of General Officers, SES staff, and senior leadership.
- Manage staffing, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of program personnel.
- Oversee contract compliance with DoD 8140.01 / 8570.01 requirements, cybersecurity directives, and DISA / Army policies.
- Coordinate with Army Reserve leadership, JSP, RNEC, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of IT support services.
- Conduct regular status meetings with the Government COR / KO, providing updates on program health, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure high-quality customer service by implementing a Quality Control Plan (QCP) and monitoring deliverables against performance standards.
- Manage contract reporting, including monthly status reports, staffing updates, and technical deliverables.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to program staff, fostering a collaborative and mission-focused work environment.
- Support COOP and disaster recovery planning by ensuring continuity of IT operations during emergencies
Basic Qualifications Required Education, Certifications, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management, or related field (Master's preferred).10+ years of program / project management experience in IT operations or federal contracting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Demonstrated experience managing helpdesk operations, system administration, and IT service delivery in DoD or enterprise environments.Proven track record of contract compliance, deliverable management, and customer engagement at senior levels.Strong familiarity with Army IT environments, SIPRNET / NIPRNET operations, cybersecurity standards, and STIG compliance.PMP or PgMP certification strongly desired.Experience supporting Army Reserve or similar Army enterprise IT environments.Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills with the ability to interface with senior military and civilian leadership.Demonstrated ability to manage geographically dispersed teams.Minimum Citizenship Status Requirements : US CitizenWhen You Join FedTec, You Are Joining a Family!
