A day in the life :
Act as primary business manager for ColonialWebb on electrical projectsPrimary responsibility for the redemption of equipment, material, and subcontractor estimatesResponsible for submittal, operations and maintenance and closeout processNegotiate pricing of all change ordersDevelop the initial schedule for ColonialWebb work on the projectResponsible for submission of RFIs and review of responses to determine scope impactProvide project information to Service Projects Manager for job Superintendent, to Fabrication Division, and to Start-up SupervisorPlanning and coordinating with Service Projects Manager on requirements of the projects as they relate to scheduling, sequence, production and qualityYou should have :
Hands-on project management experience of commercial renovation projects in ranging from $50,000 to $3,000,000 or 3 to 6 simultaneous electrical portions of equal valueDemonstrated responsibility for projects lasting a year or moreBachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably electrical), Building Construction, or Construction Engineering Management or equivalent years of experienceStrong analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skillsDemonstrated skills, experience and proficiency with technology, including knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and project management softwareDemonstrate acumen for business to include knowledge and interest of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, accounting, cost forecasting, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resourcesAbility to deal diplomatically with internal and external customers at various levels within an organization—i.e., owners, GC's, subcontractors, engineers, superintendents, draftsmen, etc.General knowledge in HVAC and Plumbing systemsJ-18808-Ljbffr
