Job descriptionPreferred : Minimum Required : Preferred : All work is performed in offices that require working in close quarters with other employees. The pharmacy settings are air conditioned / heated. Adequate protective wear available for handling certain drugs (i.e., chemo) such as a mask, gown and gloves. Gloves and goggles are available for other procedures as necessary. Distribution of Medications ‐ walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, manual dexterity, reading Drug Information / Clinical Activities ‐ sitting, talking, vision, fingering, manual dexterity, reading Keyboarding / Computer ‐ Manual dexterity, sitting, grasping, vision, reaching 6" Answering Telephones ‐ reaching 6", fingering, hearing Compounding ‐ walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, manual dexterity, reading Equipment Used : carts, computer, printer, pharmacy robotics, phones and fax machines Employees are required to have reasonable access to transportation to meet work requirements made in the ordinary course of business in a timely and efficient manner. All Age Groups All ‐ Access to patient information, including restricted information ‐ Level 4 Not Applicable
Education / Experience
- Minimum Required :
A Bachelor's of Science Degree (B.S.) or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university.
One year experience as a pharmacist
License / Certification
Licensed as a Pharmacist in New York State or NYS internship permit
