Sr. Service Manager – Gulf–Heartland Territory

Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Team Management – ~3 direct reports, ~30 org size, ~$30M P&L
Lead and manage teams of engineering technicians.Assign tasks, set goals / KPIs, and monitor performance.Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to support professional growth.Conduct performance evaluations and address disciplinary matters.Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.Project Management
Collaborate with engineers to plan, schedule, and execute projects.Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.Track progress, resolve challenges, and ensure deadlines are met.Provide updates and reports to stakeholders and upper management.Quality Control
Develop and implement quality control procedures.Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards.Address quality issues through corrective actions.Maintain records and documentation of quality processes.Equipment & Inventory Management
Oversee inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and calibration of equipment.Ensure equipment functionality and recommend new purchases when needed.Safety & Compliance
Enforce adherence to all safety regulations and company protocols.Conduct safety training and audits.Identify and mitigate safety hazards.Maintain documentation for compliance requirements.Communication & Collaboration

A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.Experience with inventory management software and systems.Ability to develop and implement inventory optimization strategies.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Xylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position
The estimated salary range for this position is $100,00.00 - 150,000.00 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
