Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant :

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
• Perform general ledger entries and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing financial data.
• Assist with tax compliance activities, including the preparation of tax returns and filings.
• Maintain and update financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and supporting schedules as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
