Overview Senior User Experience Researcher (Bangkok – Based, Relocation provided)
Senior User experience Researchers own end-to-end planning, execution, analysis and reporting of research projects, and consistently achieve research outputs needed by Product teams to inform strategic decisions. The research findings of Senior Researchers impact Agoda's business success by informing Product teams regarding design or design process, end user experience, product direction, market strategy or similar. This position is open to worldwide candidates and includes a generous relocation package to Bangkok.

Responsibilities Demonstrates critical thinking beyond explicit business requests.
Functions independently in all operational research tasks.
Leads core end-to-end research activities — including driving research objectives, hypotheses, methodology, execution, analysis, and communication.
Qualifications Master Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field
10+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains
Ability to plan, scope, conduct, analyze and communicate research
Experience with qualitative and user-centered design methods (interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think-aloud usability testing, etc.)
Experience with quantitative research (metrics, survey design, sampling, crosstabs, statistical concepts)
Experience negotiating and working with external research vendors
Ability to describe user problems and business opportunities to stakeholders using quantitative and qualitative data
Strong storytelling and communication skills; fluent in English with diverse audiences (business, design, engineering)
Collaborative mindset in a dynamic, data-driven environment
Skills & Methods Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research approaches; triangulation of findings
Application of tools for surveys, diary studies, and analysis; ability to quantify value and efficiency of research
Ability to adapt established methods to product / project situations and innovate with senior researchers
Awareness of data compliance and ethics in research activities
Collaboration & Community Drives cross-discipline collaboration via research insights
Collaborates effectively with researchers and other disciplines with clear ownership and commitments
Excellent communication skills; tailors style for different audiences and welcomes feedback
