As the Development Director , you will oversee the organization's mid-level, annual fundraising efforts. This includes identifying, cultivating, and administration, third-party fundraising, in-kind donations, and volunteers.

Youth In Need has been around since 1974 helping to create safe places for the area's most vulnerable children. We have more than 400 full- and part-time staff who serve more than 8,000 children, teens and families at nearly 100 locations in six counties in Eastern Missouri.

This Position :

We are interested in a Director with a Bachelor's Degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, or a comparable field. We're interested in someone with at least 2-3 years of fund development / nonprofit fundraising experience and at least 1-2 years of management experience.

A valid driver's license - or the ability to obtain one - is required, as is the ability to travel locally.

This is a salaried position, starting at $63,000 / year.
